We are very excited to be hosting a Eugene Chess Club friendly chess tournament on Saturday, April 20 from 2-5pm! All ages are welcome, and winners will receive gift cards to HQ. This will be a 5min/3sec Swiss-style blitz tournament where everyone is guaranteed to play in each round and the highest scoring players face off in a bonus round of blitz elimination for first place! Everyone will play the same amount of games win or lose and the tournament is open to all levels of play, from novice to advanced. Come enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or sake (non-alcoholic options available) while you test your over-the-board skills against Eugene's fellow chess players. Or, just come to mingle and meet other chess players while you watch the leader boards! While walk-ins for tournament sign-up are welcome until 2:30pm but to guarantee a spot RSVP HERE.
